How much does a roof repair cost in London?

It depends on the nature and extent of the damage. Replacing a few slipped tiles might cost a few hundred pounds. Repairing a section of lead flashing or re-bedding a run of ridge tiles will typically be more. Larger repairs involving structural timber replacement, full valley relining, or extensive re-tiling will cost more again. We provide free surveys and detailed quotes, so you’ll know the cost before any work starts.

Can you repair my roof without scaffolding?

Many smaller repairs — a handful of tiles, a short section of flashing — can be done safely from a ladder. Larger or higher-level work will usually need scaffolding or a tower for safe access. We assess this during the survey and include any access costs in the quote. For the initial inspection, we often use our drone survey service to assess the roof without the cost of erecting scaffolding.

How quickly can you carry out an emergency repair?

We aim to be on site within the hour for genuine emergencies across London. The initial visit focuses on making the roof safe and preventing further water ingress. The permanent repair is then scheduled at a convenient time, usually within a few days.

Do you work with insurance companies?

Yes. We provide full damage reports with photographic and drone evidence, along with itemised quotations for the repair works. We’re experienced in dealing with insurance claims for storm damage, flood damage, and impact damage from fallen trees or debris. We can liaise with your insurer or loss adjuster directly if you prefer.

How do I know if my roof needs repairing?

Warning signs include water stains on ceilings or walls, damp patches in the loft, daylight visible through the roof covering, tiles or slates on the ground after windy weather, moss or plant growth in the ridge or valley, and sagging or uneven sections of the roofline. If you notice any of these, it’s worth getting the roof inspected sooner rather than later. Small problems become expensive problems if they’re ignored.

What types of roof do you repair?

We repair all roof types found across London — slate, clay tile, concrete tile, flat roofs (EPDM, GRP, felt, single-ply), lead work, and specialist heritage roofs. No matter the age or style of the property, we have the experience to handle the repair.
